Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope the holidays have been among the best for all of you. I know that I speak for our entire team when I say that our holidays have been full of thoughts of our upcoming trip. As many of you likely know, we will be flying out of KCI this Saturday. We are all ridiculously anxious and totally ready to get out of here. The excitement is warranted. This is going to be an incredibly awesome trip. Several of our students will be leaving the country for the first time this weekend. I believe there are even a couple who have not flown at all before. I personally keep checking and rechecking my list of pre-departure to-dos. Although I know forgetting some trivial piece of clothing or a battery charger will not doom our trip for failure. But it is always better to arrive with all you meant to bring. Anyways, to avoid being longwinded, I will just say, we are all immensely excited about the trip and our African adventures. We would all very much appreciate your prayers as we finish preparing for this journey. Thank you also to all of you who have contributed to this mission in other ways. May God bless you well for that. I suppose it is only right that I would leave you all with a cliche closing line...so I will. Merry Christmas to all...and to all a good night.
